We’ve reached our final session on radical forgiveness. It’s a difficult journey because it often feels unfair—why should we let them off the hook?. But I’ve learned that holding onto that hate only hurts me.
Choosing Humility:
- Relationship First: My relationship with God means more to me than my right to be angry.
- Transfer the Burden: Forgiveness transfers the burden of justice from my heart into God’s hands.
- Own Your Life: Being honest about the pain and acknowledging the cost allows me to finally enjoy the life I have.
I release anyone who has hurt me because I want to live in God’s freedom and grace.
