I feel the pain, Fr. I keep on saying I forgive the one person that had seriously betrayed me, threatened my life, and I do forgive that person. But the pain of reliving the same thing over doesn’t go away. I think of it. I keep on nailing it to the Cross, but I still think of it. It’s been45 years now, but I can’t stop hurting. I keep on saying I forgive, and I do. But the pain stays!
