As I am watching the sunrise, having my cup of coffee with Jesus, I think of the word “protection.”
Psalm 12:7 says, “You, O Lord, will protect us; you will guard us from this generation forever.”
It is very powerful knowing that we are protected, that we are safe in God’s hands.
That does not mean we won’t go through trials and tribulations.
It does not mean we won’t grow old or get sick. But it does mean that we are “divinely” protected.
I read a powerful line in a devotional yesterday that said that I am assured wherever I am, God is.
When we embrace the presence of God, we have nothing to fear.
We can face each day knowing that our protector is with us, and we can handle everything that comes our way.
We cannot say that we trust Jesus and yet live in fear.
Today, see all the ways in which God is protecting you!
Whatever your fears are, offer them to HIM and then let go.
There is nothing today that we cannot handle with our Lord and at our side.
