CHOICE

by Craig F. Harrison

Today, as I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I read that we had a small earthquake last night.  I slept right through it.  People have been posting things like, “That’s all we need.”  I started to look for the locus, but all I could find were mosquitoes this morning!

We were not created to live in fear.  We were created to love and trust our Lord.  The power of God protects us.  In Psalm 12:7 it says, “You, O Lord, will protect us; you will guard us from this generation forever.”  I trust in HIS word and in His promises!

Today, I am going to choose to make this a wonderful day.  Even with 110° weather, earthquakes, and mosquitoes, it becomes a CHOICE.  I can make the best of today and count my blessings!  I can be positive, affirming, and kind, or I can complain, be critical and sad.  Is it not great that we have a choice?  With Jesus on our side, it makes life a lot easier.  Put a little sunscreen on, and some mosquito repellent, keep your feet on solid ground, and stay in the shade.  It is going to be a wonderful day.

Blessings, and if the ground shakes again, make it a dance.

Thank You Father Craig , always looking forward to your message. It’s so good too start my mornings with your motivational reflections.. We are doing well and our children and grandchildren . Please keep us in your prayers as you are always in ours. Please pray for me as I am recovering from surgery. I had an aneurysm behind my left eye, but was able to repair it on time. I am so thankful that everything went well looking forward to renewing our 50th wedding vows with my children and grandchildren in Hawaii on July 15 if God wills. God bless you.🙏❤️❤️

I have found that keeping my eyes on Him and away from the news has relieved me of so much anxiety and fear. I’m grateful for your messages each day. Thank you.
