Sparkle

Craig Harrison - Coffee With Jesus

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word SPARKLE.  I actually met a young woman who is a caregiver, and her name is Sparkle…really!

Every time I see something that sparkles, it draws my attention, whether it be a star at night, the bling that so many people wear, or this young woman named Sparkle.  She just sparkles!  Her love and compassion for people in the last stages of their lives are truly amazing.  You can feel Jesus flowing through her.

Today, let us be conscious that we, too, need to sparkle.  We need to bring that light of Christ into our world in any way we can.  And I thank God for people like Sparkle, who remind us of that gift. z

Have a blessed day.  And don’t forget to Sparkle!

Good morning Monsignor,
Your daily messages are a shiny written sparkle in my life. When I’m around a happy positive fun person it lifts me up and I feel as if I absorbed a bit of their happy beautiful purple glittery sparkle (my favorite color is purple). Conversely, I’ve been told, my weird quirky fun motivational personality draws complete strangers toward me, they feel as if I’m easy to share their problems, plus I give them hope through laughter.
We all have this gift, we just need to turn on our sparkly button, maybe we need to recharge and remind ourselves of all we have, be grateful and our Father will give us brand new batteries.

I’m absorbing your inner sparkle Monsignor, have a sparkly day!
