Presence

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking of a funny saying I heard that says, “GOD invites us to drop our burdens on HIM!  And, unlike the dry cleaning, we don’t have to pick them up again.”  Often in our daily walk, we hold on tightly to the past and what could have been.  Then we worry about what the future will be.  But Jesus wants us to focus on what is.  Jesus calls us to make this day new and to walk in His light.

Whatever is holding you back, it is time to let it go and allow the Lord to use you.  He will take your pain, your trials, and your fears and, with strong purpose, HE will use it to build HIS kingdom.  We don’t need to keep dwelling on the past and we don’t need to look into the future.  We need to live today.  We need to make his PRESENCE known to our world through our unshakable faith.

Today is a great time to set the pace.  We can leave our worries and fears behind and make today the best day of our lives.  It’s a choice.  It’s the right choice.
