As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about LIFE. Yesterday, my seven-year-old grandson got a Happy Meal, and in it was a miniature version of the game of LIFE. We played it for a couple of hours and laughed over and over again. Sometimes we can take LIFE too seriously. Instead of basking in the beauty of God’s creation, the little miracles HE shows us each day, we get caught up in the problems of LIFE.
To truly live means to have a LIFE. Every once in a while I would say to someone, “You need to get a LIFE!” But the life that God has planned for us is perfect! Sometimes we need to just surrender and go with the flow. There will always be things that challenge us in this LIFE, but when we allow Jesus in, there is nothing we cannot handle.
Today, I am going to celebrate LIFE, not just my personal LIFE, but the LIFE of my community, the LIFE of my family and friends. Today I will celebrate LIFE with gratitude and Thanksgiving.

This is pure poetry, from the message to your choice of words, the tone and the beat … yes it sounds musical to me!
Life is too short not to have fun. I constantly laugh at myself, while/when realize I just said something funny, I did something stupid or I see humor all around me. I know being given a shorter life span-per the Drs., they think I’m funny as I’ve told them, you don’t decide when it’s my time to go, God does. I’ve been blessed to still be here, according to them I should have left about 3 years ago, this is when I’m ok being late, lol I enjoy each day each hour each minute I’m still breathing.

Good morning Msgr. Craig. Are you here in Bakersfield? You told me you were going to Assisi, Italy about the time I went through my latest surgery! By the way, I’ve added more people to my Honorary pallbearers list! Yes, shock, not again, etc.!!!!! I am now home, taking care of myself and trying to behave!!!!!
