Hand Over

Craig Harrison - Coffee With Jesus

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the things that we HAND OVER.  We talk about HANDING OVER our life to Jesus, and that is a good thing.  However, sometimes I think we HAND OVER our minds to many other entities.  We HAND OVER our minds to our cell phones, to television, to social media.  And we let other people tell us what we should be doing, what we should look like, even what we should be thinking!

How many times do you see people in a restaurant who, instead of enjoying a meal with others, are on their phones?  Or people taking a walk or enjoying the beach; instead they’re on their phones.  Most of the time, we don’t even know we’re doing this.  We are handing over our lives!  We do not let the world control our bodies and we should not let it control our minds!

Today, I am going to think for myself and limit the time I look at my phone.  I’m going to let the Lord speak to me instead of listening to the ramblings of the world.  I’m going to HAND OVER my mind to the Lord.

Have a great and free day!

Buon Giorno Monsignor,
Sadly, you are correct, we have turned over our time, our energy, our dreams and worse of all we’ve handed over our minds to be manipulated by social media and tv.

I love being outside, in the mornings I relish my walks, I put my phone away and enjoy my quiet reflective time with our Father. Unfortunately, you’ll see folks listening to music or on their phones, they’re missing the sights and sounds of nature: birds chirping, leaves rustling, squirrels running, stunning trees and plants.
Many of us will listen to the “media” and believe what we are being told, it’s our right to research. Let’s hand over our thoughts, our time, our energy and our dedication to our Lord.
Have a wonderful day

Good Morning Father Craig, thank you for your message today. That is so true . People can’t do anything without their phones. We grew up without phones and we survived . Have a Blessed Day ♥️🙏🙏

When Verizon cut my older cell phone off, forcing me to get a new phone, they had sent me information on getting a new “free” phone, android phone, so I went in to get it. There of course was a catch- I had to buy $150.00 worth of parts to get the phone for free!!!!! When I showed them what I already had, which were the parts they were requiring me to buy, I got the phone all right-but the catch was I had to pay for it without their telling me that!!!!!! I got the phone, paid a minimal fee, wandered what the fee was for, but the guy (a manager there) wouldn’t tell me and walked away after showing me how to make a phone call. I wrote to Verizon headquarters, told them what had happened and told them that was false advertising, etc. Never have gotten help on how to use it!!!!!! So, when I’m anywhere, I’m not on my phone unless a call comes through that I actually can answer! So, I’m enjoying nature, people, etc. instead of my android cell phone!!!! Friends have told me just to play with it (using my finger or pencil type device and I will slowly learn how to use it! Been trying that, but so far nothing interesting comes up–SO I’M ENJOYING NATURE, ETC. instead!!!!! Are you all having a great laugh yet????? I am!!!!! Amen and GOD BLESS EVERYONE!
