God Uses Broken Things

Craig Harrison - Coffee With Jesus

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus I was reflecting on a phrase, “God uses broken things”. Throughout the Scriptures, God has always used those people who are completely broken to fulfill his promises… Whether, you have been BROKEN emotionally, physically, or spiritually GOD can use you. If you have been broken with your ambitions, finances, relationships, or worldly reputation HE needs you! Whether you are broken with health issues or mental illness, or addiction God can use you! In fact, that is the only kind of person God uses.

Each morning as I begin my day with the Lord, I am aware of my own brokenness. At times I draw inward myself and I feel I want to throw a pity party. But then as the Lord opens my heart, I realize HE needed this brokenness for a greater plan. Don’t get me wrong I would rather be strong and in control, but that is not HIS plan.

Today I am going to allow give my brokenness to the Lord so that HE can piece together what HE needs today to make this world a better place. Just like the BODY of CHRIST must be broken before it can be shared, so it is with us. Today do not be afraid, allow GOD To use your brokenness to heal a broken world. Have a blessed day!
