Darkness

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus I was thinking of DARKNESS. It’s pretty dark outside, a few people have their lamps on but other than that it’s dark. Sometimes in our lives, we find ourselves in darkness even when it is bright and sunny outside. During this pandemic and our lack of socialization, many people find themselves in a very long, dark, and sad place.

We must remember the sunrise! The LIGHT is there just ready to come out and give us bright HOPE and PEACE! This too will pass, and we will be in HIS LIGHT. We just must patiently wait, and trust. So, whether you’re up early and it’s dark or going through a dark period, JESUS, the LIGHT, will shine. I think I love this time of the morning the best when out of the darkness it becomes LIGHT and then I can see so much more than I ever saw in the darkness.

Today not only will I wait for the LIGHT I KNOW it is coming. Even while I sit and reflect my street is coming alive, more lights are turning on, people are getting up and soon the SUN will be shining. Just remember we wouldn’t appreciate the LIGHT if we never experienced the darkness. Have a blessed day basking in the LIGHT!
