Balance

Craig Harrison - Coffee With Jesus

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word BALANCE.  It’s not always easy to keep our spiritual, emotional, psychological, and physical life in BALANCE.  During my workout, my trainer always talks about BALANCE,  especially the older we get.  She has us do all kinds of exercises to help us keep balanced.

I think the most difficult area for me to stay balanced is physically.  If my workout partners did not come, I would probably be out getting a doughnut somewhere!  But because they are diligent; my workout partners help me to find that balance.  It is important to find people who can keep you accountable, especially in areas in which you find it most difficult to stay balanced.

Jesus wants us to live a BALANCED life!  Thank you, workout partners, for keeping me balanced.  I think I’ve kept this routine up for about fifteen years now.  Even though I’m not excited when I see my trainer show up, (I want a doughnut), I know it keeps me balanced.

Today, find someone to take a walk with, to go for a run with, to ride a bike with, and to find that physical BALANCE.

Have a great day!

I guess I’m lucky since doughnuts are made with cow’s milk, I can’t eat them! My workout is doing my constitutional by walking–usually around a store since I have sooooo many allergies! Friends ask me what I am allergic to and I simply answer–BAKERSFIELD!!!!! After they finish laughing, they realize I’m being serious! When I go to a doctor’s office and they have me fill out paperwork, under allergies I put down Aspirin and Bakersfield! The doctors have a great laugh, then realize I’m being serious since I’m allergic to many spores, etc. that float in the air around Bakersfield!!!!!

Tell you what, you can have my doughnut since I can’t eat them -unless they are made with another milk besides cow’s milk!
