Aware

Craig Harrison - Coffee With Jesus

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus I am thinking about the word AWARE. Yesterday I sat on my porch for a little bit and threw Francis his ball (He is my dog). I started looking around and I became AWARE of so many things. I noticed that the trees were in full bloom, there were a lot of tangerines on my neighbor’s tree and I must confess that they are very sweet. I watched neighbors walk by waving or stopping to say hello, others in too much of a hurry as they would rush through the streets. Awareness, it’s something I need to practice more often. Sometimes I can be in such a hurry, or too much in my mind that I do not see that I’m not aware of all of God‘s miracles happening right before me. A hummingbird just came and I was so still it just stayed right in front of me. I think of all the times I missed seeing God‘s presence because I was in such a hurry. So today, I am going to practice AWARENESS. Awareness in the simple things, the sound of the birds, the colors in the sunset, cloud formations, and all of the other gifts that God has in store for me today! Have a blessed day. I have to throw the ball again.
