Anger

Craig Harrison - Coffee With Jesus

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about ANGER.  In the last few days, a number of people have shared with me the anger they have.  They have either been hurt by someone, or are frustrated with what is happening in their lives; and some don’t even know what they are angry about.  I have learned over the years that ANGER only destroys the person who holds onto it.

We need to look at our lives and be truthful about what we’re angry about and, most of the time, it’s about our own choices.  Isn’t it wonderful that we have a God that does not hold grudges or remain angry, but continually challenges us to be more focused on HIM than holding on to anger?  Sometimes it is easier said than done.

The Scriptures tell us in James 1:19-20, ”Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.”

Today, if you’re angry at someone, or some situation, or even yourself, ask God to help you let it go and focus on HIS love and mercy and watch the anger dissipate.

Have a blessed day!

Great message Monsignor, anger is a corrosive poison which deteriorates the vessel, our own body. Let go of these harmful feelings, forgive, let it go, rehearse your anger, you’ll feel a sense of relief and happiness once all your negativity floats away.
Have a wonderful wonderful Wednesday
