As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was reflecting on the phrase, “God alone suffices.” What wisdom we can gain from the Saints! As the sun is rising, I look out and see a beautiful day on the horizon, so what do we have to fear? Sometimes we have to try to remove the negativity in our thinking and just bask in the presence of the Almighty.
Today reminds me of when I was a child. We would ride our bikes in the neighborhood as long as we were home before the street lights came on. We might go to the park, or swim at someone’s house; there was always time to enjoy the day and each other. Today everybody is busy, everyone is in a hurry. I would love to remind you what “busy” stands for:
B- Being
U- Under
S- Satan’s
Y- Yolk
So today, don’t get too busy. Make time for people, put a smile on your face, and have a wonderful day!
