As I sit and have my cup of coffee and scone with Jesus (and Francis)
I am reflecting on the word AWARENESS. It’s amazing what happens to our thought process when we become AWARE. When we are aware of our surroundings, the people we are with, the sounds and smells we move away from our problems. In those moments when we are aware that God is present it is breathtaking.
Sometimes we need to get out of our heads, to slow down our thinking so that we can become AWARE of God’s presence in the moment. Right now, take a deep breath and become aware of God’s presence in your surroundings, and the sounds you hear in each breath you take. To be aware is to be ALIVE.
Today, together let us be aware of God’s presence in nature, the things we need to do, and the people we encounter and most importantly in the deep recesses of our SOUL. Have a great day and be AWARE that you are LOVED!
