As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word ENOUGH. In our world, it always seems like we need more, more money more time, more time off, even more time to spend with God! But the reality is God always gives us ENOUGH. It is what we do with it that is the problem. To begin our day in prayer, in reflection, and in surrender means that we have to take some of the ENOUGH time and apply it. Sometimes we have to say ENOUGH to the things we waste time on.
Every day, God provides us with what we need, and it is ENOUGH. My mother used to say, “Enough of that, enough worrying, enough complaining!” What she meant was that’s all …move on. Just today, God is providing us with enough, enough time, enough love, enough means to be the best version of ourselves. It becomes our choice to live in ENOUGH.
So, today I’m going to live in the NOW, with ENOUGH. I’m going to be grateful and patient and know that ENOUGH is ENOUGH.
