Radical Acceptance: Part 5

Radical Acceptance: Naming the Wounds 🩹✨

Welcome back to session five of Conversations with Craig. Today, we are exploring how we bring about true healing in relationships that are deeply strained, distant, or completely cut off.

I’ve learned that estrangement is always due to unresolved wounds. To move past the pain, we have to find the courage to name exactly what those wounds are.

Loving Beyond the Brokenness:

  • Accepting Who They Are: Sometimes, we have to realize that our mother, father, or loved ones may never change—that is simply who they are.
  • Choosing to Love Anyway: Once we become aware of their limitations, a powerful shift happens. I’ve realized that I can love them anyway, even if I don’t necessarily like their actions or behaviors.
  • Divine Restoration: We can’t fix other people, but I hold onto this truth every single day: God can heal what human hands have broken.

Healing doesn’t require the other person to change; it starts when we bring our broken pieces to the Lord and choose radical acceptance.

Is there an unresolved wound you need to name so God can begin healing it today? 🕊️

Watch Episode 5 now, and let’s keep moving toward healing together.
