As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus on this beautiful morning, Valentine’s Day, I’m reflecting on LOVE. LOVE is a word that has been misused. People say I LOVE my job, or I LOVE my car, but, in reality, LOVE is reserved for the human connection (and pets). Jesus is the fulfillment of LOVE! To lay down your life for someone else because of LOVE is the greatest sacrifice.
So, on this Valentine’s Day, first and foremost, I am grateful for the LOVE given to me by God. I’m also grateful for the LOVE passed on to me by my parents; that love continues even though they have passed. The LOVE of my children and grandchildren makes me feel like the most blessed person there is.
So today, whatever your day is going to be made of, remember the people who have showed you LOVE. Those who loved you in good times and in bad, in sickness and health, and give thanks to God! And don’t forget to thank HIM for the love HE gave us sending us HIS son JESUS.
Have a blessed day and happy Valentine’s Day!

Amen Monsignor.
Love is such a vital necessity, science is now realizing the importance of human connection, relationships and friendships aka, LOVE for one another. When we FEEL LOVE, our brain releases all the happy hormones, serotonin, domaine and a plethora of other reactions. Most importantly, when we give or receive love, we are truly blessed, as this act gifts us more time on Earth, literally those who are surrounded by love live longer. We have a decreased amount of dementia and Alzheimer’s. Go out and spread your love with your loved ones, it’s free and it’s worth more than gold.
Blessings Monsignor
