Craig Harrison - Coffee With Jesus

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word PRAISE.  The dictionary says PRAISE is the expression of approval or admiration for someone or something.  Every morning, we need to wake up and PRAISE God.  We’ve been given the chance for a new day, a new beginning.

The Scriptures remind us about PRAISE.  We need to praise God in the good times and the bad.  David says in Psalm 68:19, “PRAISE be to the Lord, the God our Savior, who daily bears are burdens.”  To PRAISE is to give thanks.  Deuteronomy 7:9 says, “I PRAISE you, God, for You keep your covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love You and keep Your commandments. “

Today, we PRAISE God for the rain, we PRAISE HIM for life, and we even praise HIM for the trials we endure!  PRAISE is the highest form of prayer.

So today, PRAISE the Lord and have a blessed day!

Thank you Monsignor for this timely message, may our Father continue to enlighten us, to solidify our faith, to feel His love while we PRAISE Him for all our circumstances.

Jesus, thank You that my identity and worth is firmly rooted in You. My job doesn’t define me, my relationships don’t define me, and my various roles don’t define me. I praise You for declaring me holy and dearly loved. You paid the highest price for my soul…Thank You that I don’t need to compare my gifts to the gifts of others in order to feel special.”
