As I sit having my cappuccino with Jesus this morning in Assisi, Italy, I was thinking about “peace.” We all need to have a place that we go to where we can find the peace of God. For almost fifty years, I have been traveling to Assisi, and every time I come here, I feel at peace.
I also know that, in reality, I can’t always be in here, so I try to create that feeling again on my front porch, or sitting in church, or while walking my dog, Francis.
So today, find a moment to sit in the peace of Christ, no matter where you are. Go to your peaceful place, if you can. But if you can’t, just close your eyes, go to that special place in your mind, and spend a moment with Jesus. Let him give you the peace that is beyond all understanding.
Have a blessed day! Ciao!

We have a room that has insulation for the piano. It is quiet and we now call it our chapel because we say our prayers here. It works
Enjoy your time in Assisi. Good bless and keep you
Buon Giorno Monsignor,
Our own piece of paradise is inside our soul, mind & most importantly our heart. The world can be in utter chaos and all we need to do is close our eyes and instantly we are transported into our own Assisi!
While I was in the hospital, I made friends with all, our Father expects us to give him our full faith, in return HE gifts us peace, love & most important, eternal life! During my stay, I was pampered, feed chef quality food and was surrounded by kind, caring, loving professionals. I literally felt as I had registered in a resort with just a few pokes and prodding. I’m serious!!! If you are in need of medical attention, go directly to The Heart Hospital!
I’m ecstatic you are in your happy peaceful place, but I’m aJealous, just saying!

I have crosses in nearly all the rooms in my home so I can say prayers any time I want! Besides, you don’t need a cross in front of you to pray! I pray many times during a day! Yes, it works! Amen and GOD VLESS EVERYONE!
