Mercy

Craig Harrison - Coffee With Jesus

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I am reflecting on the word MERCY. The dictionary defines MERCY as compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone who it is within one’s power to punish or harm. Throughout the Bible, the word MERCY is used. Jesus refers to it all the time and one of my favorite devotions is the DIVINE MERCY.

Luke 6:36 says, “be merciful, just as your father is merciful. “ Titus 3:5 says,“ He saved us, not because of righteous things we have done, but because of HIS MERCY.“ Hebrews 4:16,“ let us then approach God‘s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive MERCY and find grace to help us in our time of need“. God shows us endless MERCY and asks us to do the same to each other.

Today, I’m going to strive to be more MERCIFUL, I am going to reflect on the gift of DIVINE MERCY, “Jesus, I trust in you “. We are so blessed to have a MERCIFUL God. Have a beautiful day!

This print is almost to faint to read. Is it your new posting or my phone? My phone isn’t doing this anywhere else.

If you tap on the contrast icon (half-filled in circle) in the gray box on the left-hand side of the screen you can toggle high-contrast mode to make it easier to read. You can also make the text bigger by tapping on the “tT” icon. I hope that helps!

Divine Mercy originated before creation. JESUS, the LAMB of GOD, bore our sins and carried our sorrows. Mercy received should be given to those in need of merciful..
“…. the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world”. Revelation 13:8b NIV
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” Matthew 5:7 ESV
