As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the gift of FRIENDSHIP. You come to know who your real friends are when you go through tough times in life. It’s painful, sometimes, when friendships change or end. Christmas is a time of renewing friendships. Last night, as I sat by my fireplace and I looked at Christmas cards, I realized I am blessed with friends.
But I also thought about what kind of friend I am. Do I reach out to people when they are suffering, sick, troubled? Am I a true friend or is it just when it is convenient? True friends are hard to come by, but when you find one, it’s like finding the rare pearl. Jesus desires to be our friend, someone we can trust! Jesus is there for us to share our fears and trials, knowing that HE will stand by us.
Today I’m going to pray in a special way for my friends (even my four-legged ones) and that I can be a good friend. And I’m going to thank God for the gift of friendships, true friendships. I’m going to reach out to a friend who may be in need today! Have a blessed day!

You are a blessing to us
Good Morning Father Craig , thank you for that inspirational message , and thank you for reminding us of how to be a better friend and person to others. We need to stop and think to ourselves if we’re being the best we can be . True friends are hard to come by. I know I can count the true friends I gave on one hand . That’s sad . But I’m greatful I always have my family to count on . They are my Blessing . Have a Blessed Day ♥️🙏🙏
Yes, I am going to strive to be a true friend. You are right, friendship is more than just a word, it is like faith it is an action. Thank you for your action. God bless.
