As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word FOCUS. One of my grandchildren who was telling me how hard it was for him to FOCUS. Then a friend of mine called and also said he had a hard time focusing, how his mind kept wandering when he was reading the Scriptures trying to pray. At times, I think that all of us have some kind of fog that keeps us from being able to FOCUS We may be struggling with focusing on even some of the simplest things. Last night, I went downstairs and I couldn’t remember why I went down there. And I still don’t!
But I do know that what I am going to focus on today, God’s love. Every day that we wake up, God breathes new life into us. We don’t need to overthink it, we don’t really even have to focus on it, we just have to gratefully accept it.
So today, don’t worry if you can’t remember what you’re doing or even why you’re doing it. Just remember God loves you, and when you’re confused, think of HIM!
And have a blessed day!
