As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word CONSISTENCY. CONSISTENCY means acting or doing something in the same way over time. Scripture tells us in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” I think it is important that we have consistency in our lives, consistency in the way in which we live, consistency in our prayer lives, and, especially, consistency in our relationship with the Lord!
I was thinking about things I’m consistent with, and I was reminded today that I have posted COFFEE with JESUS for over 360 consecutive days. I sometimes wish I was as consistent with my workouts and my diet!
Today, I am going to strive to be more consistent in my walk with the Lord, taking time for real prayer, for silence, and for listening to the direction of his spirit.

I’m grateful everyday for waking up, after praying I then find your Coffee with Jesus message and reflect on your writing, often times I feel compelled to write a response. The act of writing in general, (I’m currently writing 2 books), I’ve noticed has allowed my body to heal physically and mentally.
Am I 100% consistent in writing no, in finding blessings all around me YES! Through my journey, I’ve learned to slow down and appreciate my walk with God, sometimes due to health reasons I’m unable to walk, on those days I just talk to him. You are correct, via consistency anything is possible, we can learn a new hobby, a new language, learn to play the piano, further our education and of course improving our daily relationship with God.
I am 100% consistent in knowing and feeling HE loves me, this broken sinner, for just who I am, HIS child!
I’m also grateful for your daily messages, you have no idea how many folks throughout the world read your posts, you are truly spreading HIS word in a much larger capacity than in your previous position. Our Father gave you and I a crazy wild roller coaster ride, you’ve exuded poise, professionalism, a steadfast belief in your faith and most importantly you have MODELED TRUE Christlike behavior!
May Hod continue to fill your coffee mug with HIS strongest tastiest brew.
