As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the song that woke me up this morning. The song was “LEAN ON ME” by Bill Withers. That should be the theme song for our relationship with Jesus. I reflected at the many times I have actually leaned on HIM, and HE was always there to carry me through.
It doesn’t matter if we’re going through a difficult time or if everything is wonderful, all we must do is lean on HIM. In difficult times, with natural disasters, political upheaval, disease, and economic crisis, all of our world needs to lean on HIM!
Today, as I am beginning my day, I just had Alexa play it again. “LEAN ON ME.” And I just picture Jesus standing there with open arms saying, “Lean on ME…that is all you need!” Today I’m going to accept the grace that comes with leaning on and trusting in HIM.
