As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word ATTITUDE. I believe that attitude is a state of mind. As I wake up this morning, I have to put both feet on the floor and I tell myself this is going to be a wonderful day. Since I’m still half asleep, I sometimes have to repeat that a few times. But as I wake up each morning, I say, “Lord, today help me to use this day to bring joy and hope and peace to the world.”
Sometimes I wake up without having enough sleep, or something is on my mind, and I have to strive harder to have the right ATTITUDE. I need an ATTITUDE that today is all about serving God. I always have lists of things I need to accomplish, things I look forward to, and sometimes things that I dread, but my ATTITUDE is what matters. So today, as I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I’m having an ATTITUDE of GRATITUDE! Have an amazing day and an amazing ATTITUDE!
