    CLOSURE

    by Craig F. Harrison June 18, 2024
    2 mins read

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word CLOSURE. Someone sent me a quote the other day that said, “If the door CLOSES, quit banging on it!  Whatever was behind it wasn’t meant for you. Consider the fact that maybe the door was CLOSED because you were worth so much more than what was on the other side.”

Throughout our lives, we have moments where there is CLOSURE. It could be the death of someone we love, the end of a marriage, a change in our occupation, or even things like depression and anxiety. Sometimes we need to take a good look at our lives and not be afraid to CLOSE the door that brings pain and open the one that brings us new beginnings.  It’s amazing how many doors keep opening.  I think that must be how Jesus works.

Today, try not to see closure as something negative, but rather as something exciting. I use to love the TV show, “Let’s Make a Deal”…I always wanted to know what was behind Door Number Two!

Have a great day and just watch as new doors open. And be sure to let the Spirit of God lead you.
