As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word SPARKLE. I actually met a young woman who is a caregiver, and her name is Sparkle…really! Every time I see something that sparkles, it draws my attention, whether it be a star at night, or the bling that so many people wear, or this young woman named Sparkle. She just sparkles! Her love and compassion for people in the last stages of their lives is truly amazing. You can feel Jesus flowing through her.
Today, let us be conscious that we, too, need to sparkle. We need to bring that light of Christ into our world in any way we can. And I thank God for people like Sparkle, who remind us of that gift.
