It is another beautiful morning, having coffee with Jesus. All of the reflections I am reading this morning seem to come together today. In Philippians 4:13 it says, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” Each day, we struggle not to complain, and I wonder if it really matters. It just is what it is!
The bigger question becomes what we are doing with it…with our time, our attitudes? Have we become better people when challenged? Have we learned a little patience? Have we slowed down from our fast-paced lives? And have we grown closer to the Lord?
We can do all things through HIM who strengthens us, but we need to turn to HIM. We may never know all the facts, we may have done things differently, but what are we doing today? Do we believe God is strengthening us for even greater things?
Today, we have a choice. We can complain about what’s going on, or we can make this the best day of our lives! It is our choice to bring God’s spirit to the forefront.
I heard it may be close to 100 degrees today. We can moan and groan, or we can rejoice. But it is what it is, and Jesus has a perfect day planned for us.
