As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus I came back to the thought of GRATITUDE. I realized when I was woke up this morning I was agitated, I made my coffee, came out on my porch and read my devotionals. I Prayed morning prayer and the rosary and yet I still did not FEEL connected. So I took a deep breath and waited and Jesus gave me the word GRATITUDE. Sometimes I’m looking for an experience, a special PEACE, a connectedness. When I do not find it I wonder what is wrong and then HE gave me the word GRATITUDE. I think it’s been a while since I truly thanked HIM. Thanking HIM for carrying me through difficult times, for the blessings, for my friends, my children and grandchildren, my home, my coffee time with Jesus and of course my dog Francis. So, today I’m letting go of feeling and making a prayer of GRATITUDE. I am grateful for all that God does in my life, the TRIALS and the BLESSINGS. Today is going to be THANK YOU FRIDAY . I’m going to be mindful and I’m going to respond with the words from my heart… THANK YOU!
