As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus I was thinking about the word GENEROUS. Have you ever met anyone in your life that by nature is generous? People that share sometimes what they have, sometimes good advice and sometimes just a listening ear are Generous. Scriptures tell us, Proverbs 11:25, “ A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed”2 Corinthians 9:11 says,” you will be wnriched in every way so that you can be GENEROUS on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” GENEROSITY then becomes a prayer. Would people say that you are GENEROUS with your gifts?Today is a good day to examine your own sense of generosity and then compare it to GOD’S generosity to you.
