    Light and Dark

    by Craig F. Harrison November 14, 2025

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I am thinking of the contrast between LIGHT and dark.

When I get up each morning, it is really dark outside. Lately it’s been cold, so I’ve come inside to do my reflections. Darkness can be very profound in our lives. Sometimes it comes with fear, sometimes depression, and even loneliness.

In contrast with the dark is the LIGHT of Jesus Christ. Even when it is dark, HE is present. When we strive to look and move towards the LIGHT, we can move beyond depression, loneliness, and fear. HE is the light of the world.

So, today, whatever your day entails, looking for the light in other people, in the changing of the seasons, in quiet, simple moments, go to the LIGHT.

“I will turn the darkness before them into LIGHT, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I will do, and I will not forsake them,” Isaiah 42:16.

Have a beautiful day in the LIGHT!
