As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was reflecting on the word “TRUE” The word TRUE means existing in FACT, not merely as a possibility.
In this day and age, it’s really hard to determine what TRUE is. There are so many voices talking on so many platforms that what is true is often blurred.
But Philippians 4:8-9 says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is TRUE, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in ME. Then the God of peace will be with you.”
If we are going to search out the TRUTH, we don’t need to listen to the news, or to Google, or to any social media, we just need to turn to God’s WORD. That is where we will find TRUTH. What Jesus tells us is true!
Today, take a moment, open your Scriptures, and seek the TRUTH.
