As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking of a quote a friend sent yesterday. It says, “OPTIMIST: someone who figures that taking a step backward after taking a step forward is not a disaster, it’s a cha-cha”. That really made me smile!
We must strive to be OPTIMISTS during this time to see the LIGHT. That is what the ADVENT season is all about. Maybe you feel like me; you feel you move forward and then you get knocked back a few steps. We must pick ourselves up, TRUST in Jesus, and maybe instead of complaining, we just need to DANCE.
Every once in a while, if I was having a bad day, my mother would turn on music in the kitchen and grab my arms and we would dance. And before long, I forgot what I was upset about. I think today I’m going to have to start dancing. Have a blessed day, put a smile on your face and be an OPTIMIST. We can all make this a better world…by allowing the Holy Spirit to make a hearts dance with JOY.
Though my mother has passed, I think I hear her… “Come on, Craig, let’s dance.”
