As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking, again, about the STAR that the Shepards followed. I thought of the immensity and greatness of God compared to the “thick and dreadful darkness” that some people experience. If you know that “dreadful darkness,” you know what I’m talking about. It is that separation from all that makes us feel that way. I am reminded of how great God is that when we reach beyond our own thoughts, we can connect with the universe out there and TO THE CREATOR!
There were all kinds of problems during Jesus’s time, some political and economic; there was sickness and death, and to this JESUS came to bring the promises and the LIGHT of God. Only a couple days left to welcome the newborn King, the ONE who can take us out of that “thick and dreadful darkness” and bring us to light! Turn to the light, welcome the light, live in the light!
