As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I’m reflecting on God’s WILL. There are times it is very clear to me and other times I wrestle with my own will. Many times, it takes me out of my comfort zone. My morning prayer time is my time to center on what God wants me to do. Sometimes GOD is very clear and sometimes I must just TRUST.
What is powerful for me is the special time in the morning where I listen to GOD, and I know GOD listens to me (and laughs). Every day it’s important for us to remember to spend time with God. Even though God may take you through a journey you never expected, you will not feel alone. A friend sent me a quote yesterday, “Sometimes faith will make you look stupid, until it rains.” (Noah!)
Today, I am going to focus on this beautiful Advent season. I’m going to remember what this is about, Jesus! I’m not going to worry about the flood. I’m just going to serve our Lord, even when it is outside my comfort zone. Have a blessed day!
