As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word PROTECTION. Psalm 12:7 says, “You, O Lord, will protect us; you will guard us from this generation forever.” Isn’t it powerful to know that we are PROTECTED, that we are safe in God’s hands?
Being PROTECTED does not mean that we won’t go through trials and tribulations. It doesn’t mean that we won’t grow old or get sick, but it does mean that we are “DIVINELY” protected. We are assured that, wherever we are, God is with us! When we embrace His presence, we have nothing to fear. We cannot say that we trust Jesus and yet, live in fear.
So, today, try to see all the ways in which God is PROTECTING you! Whatever your fears are, offer them to Him and then let go. There is nothing today that we cannot handle with our Lord at our side. Let go and let God!
