As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about two conversations I had recently. Both were with mothers who had lost children within the last couple of days. Listening to their pain and fear was hard, as both deaths were unexpected. I was happy they called, but sometimes I wonder what I can do about their PAIN.
I was born an enabler and I don’t like to see people suffer, but I also know that suffering is a part of life. So I listened to them, and I wondered what someone does when they lose someone they love so much if they don’t have FAITH. I do NOT want to know; it must be terrifying. Faith and time will bring some healing, but lives are changed forever.
In the book I’m reading, the author talks about life and death, and he talks about what happens after we die and go home to Heaven. He says the ONE who sent us on the mission is waiting for us to come home and tell the story of what we have learned. I’m going to focus on the experiences of finding God in what I call today, that is LIVING!
