Excitement

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus I was thinking about the word EXCITEMENT. It seems like it has been long time that people have been EXCITED about anything. A friend said to me the other day, “the only thing I am excited about is going to bed at night and saying goodbye to a nothing day.”As Christians we should be EXCITED about many things. We should be excited about a new day and the many ways in which God speaks to us. We should be excited that as a community we have worked through so many obstacles during this pandemic. We should be excited about God’s WORD and know that we’re not alone and that there is a plan.So it’s time to wake up and get EXCITED. It’s time to stop complaining about what was and be excited about what IS. Just think we have a whole day to see God’s hand at work and we have choice to be EXCITED or BORED. I’m going choose to be EXCITED today! Have a blessed and exciting day!
