As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the gift of FRIENDSHIP. You come to know who your real friends are when you go through tough times in life. I thought about the kind of friend am I. Do I reach out to people when they are suffering, or sick, or troubled? Am I a true friend, or am I just one when it is convenient? And it can be painful when friendships change or end.
True friends are hard to come by, but when we find one, it’s like finding a rare pearl. Jesus wants to be our friend, someone we can trust. Jesus is there for us to share our fears and trials, knowing that HE will stand by us.
Today, I’m going to pray in a special way for all my friends , even my four legged ones, and pray that I can be a good friend. And I am going to thank God for the gift of friendships, true friendships. And I am going to reach out to a friend in need today.
Have a blessed day!
