As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I am reflecting on the VOICES we hear! I remember growing up watching cartoons and occasionally, there would be a character with a little devil on one side and a little angel on the other and the character would hear both voices. Today we hear many voices. We hear voices when we watch the news, we hear voices through social media, we hear voices in our heads, but the only voice we need to strive to hear is GOD’S.
Each day we need to be STILL and LISTEN for the voice of God. Scriptures tell us that he speaks to us in a whisper, in silence, in the heart. To take a moment and breathe deeply, clear the mind, and LISTEN for HIS voice. Only when we hear HIS voice do we experience a PEACE that is like no other.
Today as I begin my day, I will take time to be still, to be quiet, and to listen. To listen to HIS voice which spoke to me from the beginning and continues to draw my soul to HIM! Today HE says (Ps 46) “be still and know that I am GOD! “Be aware today of the many voices that will strive to get your attention today but LISTEN to HIS voice! Have a blessed day!

Very well said. I need to slow down; pause and meditate more. In my daily devotional time I read GOD’s WORD, pray and obey. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Blessings.
