As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the gift of FRIENDSHIP. You come to know who your real friends are when you go through tough times in life. I thought about the kind of friend I am. Do I reach out to people when they are suffering, or sick, or troubled? Am I a true friend, or am I just one when it is convenient? And it can be painful when friendships change or end. Â
True friends are hard to come by, but when we find one, it’s like finding a rare pearl. Jesus wants to be our friend, someone we can trust. Jesus is there for us to share our fears and trials, knowing that HE will stand by us. Â
Today, I’m going to pray in a special way for all my friends , even my four legged ones, and pray that I can be a good friend. And I am going to thank God for the gift of friendships, true friendships. And I am going to reach out to a friend in need today.
Have a blessed day!
