As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word GENEROUS.
Have you ever met anyone in your life that is by nature generous? People who sometimes share what they have, sometimes share good advice, or sometimes just share a listening ear are Generous.
Scriptures tell us in Proverbs 11:25, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
And it says in 2 Corinthians 9:11, ”You will be enriched in every way so that you can be GENEROUS on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”
GENEROSITY, then, becomes a prayer. Would people say that you are GENEROUS with your gifts?
Today is a good day to examine your own sense of generosity and compare it to GOD’S generosity to you.
