As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about “SLOWING DOWN.” Sometimes it seems that time has slowed down so much that I don’t even know what day it is until I wake up and look at my watch! And other times, it speeds up almost out of control.
We need to slow down and take a few moments to reconnect with our Creator. This doesn’t cost a thing, but it gives everything! Sitting outside in a favorite chair watching the seasons change, taking the dog for a walk, watering the yard, baking something for someone, calling an old friend, or going for a drive are all times when you can really focus on God’s handiwork. SLOWING DOWN should remind us about living in the PRESENT moment, enjoying the presence of God.
Today, there are some things I must do, but I am also going to consciously take time to SLOW DOWN and acknowledge the presence of God!

I am at that age where slowing down just comes naturally. But today is a day when I have to push my self to get the things I need to do, done. I will think every time I start doing what I need to do, to slow down and send a little prayer to our Father. god Bless.
