As I sit and have my coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word patience. Yesterday, I was driving, and a car would not let me over into the next lane to exit the offramp. Needless to say, I got frustrated. I was waving and had many uncharitable thoughts.
Thirty minutes later, I got back on the freeway going home, and a large truck was trying to move into my lane. I flashed my lights and let him in. He tapped his breaks as if to say, “Thank you”. I felt that we created a friendship in that simple action. When I passed him, we waved at each other. I thought this was the way it was supposed to be.
So today, be patient and kind, whether you encounter someone in person or on the road.
Have a blessed day. And drive carefully!

Kindness is very contagious and it’s the best route every time. It’s not hard actually it’s much easier to be kind then it is to be cross.
Wish we were there to enjoy your final Reflections of the season. We are out of town helping out with our son’s family. His wife just had surgery. Maybe we’ll see you at SVDP during the summer. As you bless the Mothers pictures tonight, please remember my Mom Irene and Rommie’s Mom Myrtle.
Thanks. Have a blessed summer.✝️
