As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I am thinking about the word CHALLENGE. We live in challenging times, and every day it seems the rules change, our energy changes, and we don’t know where we’re heading. But you know I love a good CHALLENGE, whether it is “Words with Friends”, a problem to solve, or, better yet, the CHALLENGE of how to stay positive!
When I wake up every morning, the challenges are there. I put my feet on the floor, and I say, “Jesus, I give you this day, the joys, the sorrows, the challenges, and the victories. I give my life to YOU!” I must ignore my feelings! I just commit my life to HIM. With all the challenges that we are going to face today, the most important one is staying close and committed to Jesus!
Today, don’t be afraid of the challenges that face you, face them head on. Jesus is at your side, each and every step of this day, and HE will lead you through the challenges of LIFE. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
