Today, as I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I thought about how these small earthquakes happen and I sleep through them! I started to think how afterwards, people post things like, “That’s all we need.” I started to look for the locus, but all I could find were mosquitoes this morning!
We were not created to live in fear. We were created to love and trust our Lord. The power of God protects us. In Psalm 12:7 it says, “You, O Lord, will protect us; you will guard us from this generation forever.” I trust in HIS word and in His promises!
Today, I am going to choose to make this a wonderful day. Even with 110° weather, earthquakes, and mosquitoes, it becomes a CHOICE. I can make the best of today and count my blessings! I can be positive, affirming, and kind, or I can complain, be critical and sad. Is it not great that we have a choice? With Jesus on our side, it makes life a lot easier. Put a little sunscreen on, and some mosquito repellent, keep your feet on solid ground, and stay in the shade. It is going to be a wonderful day.
