As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about this NEW day. There are some things I need to get done today. I have a number of appointments and some people I need to check on, but I really want to be PRESENT AND POSITIVE. I want to be PRESENT in my attitude, my speech, and my awareness throughout the day. I want to acknowledge all of God’s blessings as they take place.
It’s easy to become overwhelmed with what we have planned for the day, but it’s even more amazing when we change our ATTITUDE and awaken. As the sun rises this morning, I see God’s creation coming alive. Today, I’m going to work on my attitude, praising GOD while unloading the dishwasher, or meeting with friends, or reading and writing.
Today, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and take a few moments to make this the best day. For this is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. It is a wonderful world!
