    GLORIOUS

    by Craig F. Harrison January 25, 2025
    2 mins read

As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about Sunday mornings. During the week, I like to think about preparing for them. As a child, we would get up and go to church. We dressed up and had to change clothes as soon as we came home. After that, we would have breakfast, and it was always a big breakfast. I always felt there was something GLORIOUS about Sunday, the Lord’s Day.  My dad gave us a work pass that day, meaning we didn’t have to do useless chores.

I think GLORIOUS is a great word for Sundays. Taking time out of our day to acknowledge all that God has done for us and to CELEBRATE our response to HIS love! Nothing gives us an excuse for not making the Lord’s Day GLORIOUS!

So, on every GLORIOUS Sunday, celebrate church, celebrate family, even if that means just FaceTime or a call, and celebrate a big breakfast! Celebrate HIS creation and all the blessings that come with it. Take a walk, sing a song, call friend, make your favorite dish for dinner, and in all of this, CELEBRATE His GLORIOUS day!
