As I sit and have my cup of coffee with Jesus, I was thinking about the word CARING. To me, caring is concern for someone, or caring about a cause, or about things we love, or things that we put ahead of ourselves. When we go out of our way to be caring, we always feel good, because that’s when we resemble Jesus the most.
Don’t get me wrong. We also need to have self-care and take care of ourselves. But to truly find joy and happiness, caring for others needs to be an essential part of our daily life.
Today, find someone that you can reach out to and be caring. Maybe just a phone call or a text, or even just a kind word. If our entire world became more caring, we would find the peace and love that Christ intended.
